Job summary

Global Medical Response (GMR) in Santa Rosa, CA is hiring a Flight Nurse to join our air transport team, providing critical care transport of patients to and from facilities and scene calls.

The role requires RN license and 3+ years in emergency or critical care, plus CFRN within 24 months, and BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications before flight status. Expected duties include aircraft safety, teamwork with flight crews, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in Emergency or Adult Critical Care as an RN.
• Current RN license in states served by the assigned area.
• EMT Certification and Trauma Certification in state(s) where required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP provided during training).
• Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) required within 24 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess situations to determine best course of action for patient care in critical situations.
• Utilize critical thinking to manage adult or pediatric critically ill/injured patients.
• Maintain safe, clean aircraft environment and ensure equipment readiness and safety standards.
• Collaborate with air/ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Share shift-change information and maintain accurate company/regulatory records.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training for the position.
