Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Flight Nurse in McClellan, CA. You will transport patients by air, assess and treat critically ill or injured patients, and work with flight crews and medical teams to ensure safety and quality care.

Three years of emergency or adult critical care experience, an active RN license, and required certifications including BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP are essential; CFRN within 24 months is required.

Qualifications

• Three years of Emergency or Adult Critical Care nursing experience.
• Current RN license in states served by the assigned area.
• EMT and Trauma certifications as required by state.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required before flight status; CFRN within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess situations to determine best action for patient care in critical situations.
• Monitor and treat critically ill or injured patients per physician orders.
• Maintain safe aircraft environment and perform base/equipment checks.
• Communicate professionally with air/ground teams, dispatch, and facilities.
• Ensure accurate documentation and regulatory records; maintain certifications.
