Job summary

FlightSafety International in Wichita Falls, TX, seeks a Flight Instructor to deliver ground and simulator instruction in accordance with aviation regulations and our training principles. You will conduct client sessions, develop training materials, and track progress to ensure qualification outcomes.

Applicants should be able to teach diverse courses, maintain instructor qualifications, and support safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted ATP certificate or ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License
• If no ATP, must meet 14 CFR Part 61.153 and 61.64 without SOE limitation
• Minimum one unrestricted PIC type rating
• Preferred FAR Part 135/121 or military training experience
• Preferred 2,500 hours total flight time

Responsibilities

• Conduct pilot ground and simulator training for clients receiving core, specialty or enrichment training courses.
• Develop and prepare training materials to meet client needs per curriculum.
• Evaluate trainee progress and recommend qualification or additional training.
• Complete accurate training records for each client to aid objective achievement.
• Identify client training issues and seek assistance prior to execution.
• Maintain instructor qualifications per regulatory requirements.
