Job summary

The Inland Deicing Services, LLC, part of the Inland Group, is seeking a Manufacturing Fitter-Welder to help ensure safe, reliable equipment performance. You will interpret blueprints, fit carbon, stainless steel and aluminum, and operate GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, and GTAW welding processes in a fast-paced environment.

We require a 2-year Welding Diploma and 3–5 years of welding experience, with TIG welding as a mandatory skill.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment background check.
• Must have your own welding helmet.
• 2-year Welding Diploma is required.
• 3–5 years welding experience is expected.
• Carbon, stainless steel and aluminum TIG welding experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Interpret construction drawings (blueprints and general layouts).
• Fit various metals (carbon, stainless steel, aluminum).
• Set up and operate welding applications: GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, GTAW.
• Maintain Inland equipment, tools and materials in good condition.
• Work safely and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
