Job summary

Jobot Consulting seeks a motivated Welder/Pipe Fitter to join our manufacturing team in a permanent on-site role in the United States. The successful candidate will have experience with GTAW, TIG/MIG, fabrication, and inspection to ensure the integrity of welded assemblies.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, welding various components, and maintaining equipment while adhering to stringent safety standards. AWS certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of welding and pipe fitting experience.
• Experience with GTAW, cutting, fabrication, inspection, TIG/MIG, CNC grinders.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and measurements to plan layouts.
• Weld components including copper plumbing, beams, and pipelines.
• Operate and monitor welding machinery and related equipment.
• Maintain and repair welding machinery.
• Inspect welded surfaces and structures for defects.
• Follow strict safety regulations and wear protective gear.
• Weld in flat, vertical and overhead positions; use grinders as needed.
• Test and inspect welds to ensure quality and safety.
