IDS Inland Deicing Services, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Fitter-Welder at our Pittsburgh location. The role involves welding, fitting metals, and interpreting blueprints to ensure proper performance and safety of equipment.

You will operate GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, GTAW and be part of a team focused on quality, efficiency and adherence to SOPs. A 2-year welding diploma and 3–5 years of experience are expected, with some flexibility for travel to IDS sites.

Qualifications

• 2-year Welding Diploma.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of welding experience.
• Experience with carbon, stainless steel and aluminum TIG welding is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Proactively foster a learning safety culture by modeling a safe work ethic and promoting the value of open reporting and shared safety responsibility.
• Follow all safety policies, standards, and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all staff, customers, and visitors.
• Interprets construction drawings (blueprints and general layouts).
• Fitting metals such as carbon, stainless steel and aluminum.
• Set up and operation of GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, GTAW welding applications.

Education

2-year Welding Diploma

3–5 years welding experience

Tig welding experience (carbon/stainless/aluminum)
