Job summary

Million Air Richmond is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of our General Aviation business. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working in the books, takes ownership of the accounting process, and has the technical ability to produce accurate and timely financial statements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting/bookkeeping experience, preferably with full accounting cycle.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial statement preparation.
• Experience producing monthly financial statements and coordinating month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities for the business.
• Maintain accurate and complete general ledger records.
• Perform and oversee accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, and related functions.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts monthly.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and close processes.
• Coordinate with external accountants and auditors as needed.
