Job summary

Citadel Aviation, LLC in Dallas, TX is seeking a Controller to oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensure accuracy, integrity, and GAAP compliance across accounting and reporting for high-value aviation projects.

This role reports to the Director of Finance, partners with business leaders, and leads month-end close, internal controls, budgeting, and financial analysis to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 5-10 years of progressive accounting or financial management experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal control principles.
• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, aviation, or project-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site-specific accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and cost accounting.
• Ensure monthly financial statements are prepared in accordance with GAAP.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes and produce reporting packages.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to support decisions.
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls and manage audits and regulatory filings.
