Job summary

Citadel Aviation, LLC is seeking a Controller to oversee day-to-day financial operations for Dallas, TX. You will manage accounting functions, ensure GAAP compliance, and partner with leaders to drive accurate reporting and financial discipline across aviation programs.

The role requires 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting, and strong knowledge of internal controls. On-site role with potential extended hours during month-end close and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 5–10 years of progressive accounting or financial management experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal control principles.
• Experience managing accounting operations in a manufacturing, aerospace, aviation, or project-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
• Lead month-end and year-end close and prepare GAAP-based financial reporting packages.
• Develop internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and cost accounting for projects.
