Job summary

Petrus Aviation is seeking a dynamic Director of Finance to oversee finance, valuation, cash flow monitoring, reporting, and controls for an aircraft leasing investment fund in Dallas, TX. The role reports to the COO and serves as the financial control lead across the platform.

The successful candidate will manage valuation analysts, ensure model integrity, and drive governance, dashboards, and investor communications. CPA is preferred; CFA/valuation credentials desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related business discipline.
• CPA strongly preferred; CFA or valuation credential desirable.
• 10-15 years in private equity, aviation leasing, or fund valuation / FP&A.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quarterly valuation process and model review from data collection to final valuation support.
• Maintain governance protocols, documentation, and version control for valuation models.
• Coordinate with partners, accounting, and investors for reporting, cash forecasting, and audits.
