Job summary

Citadel Aviation, LLC in Dallas, TX is actively seeking a Controller to oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensure GAAP compliance, and drive accurate, timely reporting for high-value aviation programs.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will lead month-end close, optimize cost accounting for aircraft projects, and mentor the accounting team while partnering with executives to support strategic decisions and program profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• 5–10 years in accounting/financial management.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and internal controls.
• Experience in manufacturing/aerospace or project-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage site-specific accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and cost accounting.
• Lead month-end and year-end close and prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Develop and maintain internal controls; coordinate external audits and tax filings.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for aircraft programs and contracts.
