Job summary

TURBINE ENGINE SPECIALISTS INC is seeking an Aviation Maintenance Technician for the second shift (3 PM to 1:30 AM) to perform repair or overhaul on aircraft engines, APUs, and related components. You will troubleshoot, disassemble/assemble, inspect parts, and ensure compliance with FAA regulations and OEM manuals.

The role requires reading and interpreting technical manuals, precision measurement with micrometers, and adherence to safety practices.

Qualifications

2 years or more experience on gas turbine engines or possession of FAA Power Plant license.
Ability to read, interpret, and understand technical manuals and use micrometers and precision-measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

Read and write in English and adhere to FAA regulations and OEM manuals.
Complete required training as per TES matrices including FAA regulations and inspections.
Troubleshoot and repair on or off the wing under supervision.
Disassemble and assemble turbine engines using aircraft tools and equipment.
Inspect engine parts for defects using precision instruments and tests.
Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) as required.
Use database systems to access parts info and ensure proper documentation.
Follow technical publications and regulatory requirements for correct sequencing and sign-off.
Assist with general facility cleaning and maintenance.
