Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Honolulu offers an Electrical Engineering Intern role within our Aviation & Federal market. You will assist with design tasks, data entry, documentation, and presenting solutions while supporting lead engineers on diverse projects.

A bachelor’s degree pursuit in Electrical Engineering is required, with ABET accreditation preferred and a track record of leadership and active campus involvement. The position is full-time with a typical schedule and travel up to 5%.

Qualifications

• When pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited program.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Prior internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.
• Active campus/community involvement encouraged.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, documentation and PowerPoint.
• Assist with responses to general questions.
• Participate in data collection and analysis for continuous improvement.
• Present solutions to concerns and research project issues.
• Support lead engineers with various project duties.
