Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Engineering Intern in Morristown, NJ to support standard engineering tasks, from design updates to assisting lead engineers on diverse projects across Aviation & Federal markets. Required: pursuing a bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field, ABET preferred, enrolled and in good standing, 3.0 GPA+, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and proficiency with Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook.

US work authorization provided.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited program.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary/technical program in a related field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Prior internship or related consulting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, documentation and PowerPoint presentation.
• Assist with responses to general questions.
• Participate in data collection and analysis for continuous improvement.
• Present solutions to concerns and research project-related problems.
• Support lead engineers and researchers on assigned tasks.
