Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Orlando, FL invites an intern to work with the Aviation & Federal group, supporting program management, master planning, facility design commissioning, and operational systems design for aerospace and federal projects.

You will assist with data entry, presentations, responses to questions, and contribute to continuous improvement while gaining exposure to multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Currently enrolled in a related post-secondary or certificate program.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Prior internship or related consulting experience preferred.
• Active campus/community involvement and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, documentation and Power Point presentations.
• Assist with responses to general questions.
• Participate in continuous improvement by collecting and analyzing data.
• Present solutions to concerns.
• Research solutions to project concerns; analyze and recommend solutions.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
