StandardAero, Inc. in San Antonio, TX is seeking an Engineering Specialist / Technologist to manage technical data for new and existing engine overhaul and component repair projects.

You will review tech manuals, service bulletins, and amendments, generate TODRs and UBSs, and prepare production routings and repair instructions while supporting production engineering. A compatible Associate's degree or 3 years aviation MRO experience is required; strong communication and project-management skills

Qualifikationen

• Associate's degree in engineering or related technical discipline or 3 years in aviation MRO/technical engineering.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Experience creating or maintaining technical procedures, work instructions, repair instructions, or other technical docs.

Aufgaben

• Maintain currency with tech manual reviews for cost impact of material/labor changes.
• Review service bulletins, manuals changes, and amendments.
• Generate TODRs, UBSs, TPLRs related to repair processes.
• Prepare production routings and repair instructions based on technical data.
• Provide support to production engineering.
• Develop new repairs from engineering data.
• Plan and execute repair trials and document results.
• Observe safety requirements and report unsafe conditions.
