Job summary

StandardAero in San Antonio, TX is seeking an Aircraft Engine Mechanic to perform precision repair and overhaul on gas turbine engines. You will apply your technical expertise to ensure engines meet high standards of quality, reliability, and safety.

Qualifications

  • Experience in aircraft engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO), including full engine teardown and rebuild.
  • Experience with fan engines (large engines preferred).
  • Proficiency in engine induction, dismantle, and inspection of complex parts.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering data.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair gas turbine engine modules and components.
  • Perform complete engine teardown, inspection, repair, and reassembly with accuracy.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and maintenance manuals to determine proper operating conditions.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and uphold quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Follow all company safety policies and applicable aviation regulations.
