Job summary

Shrewsberry & Associates in Denver is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Aviation Engineering to oversee intermediate-level airport design projects and build strong relationships with airport authorities and government agencies. You should be well-versed in FAA criteria and able to obtain PE licensure in multiple states.

Responsibilities include ensuring technical excellence, delivering on-time, within-budget outcomes, and supporting business development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
6+ years of experience in airside and landside airport design.
Familiarity with FAA criteria, project management, and client relations.
Proposal writing, scope development, and budget preparation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage and deliver quality aviation projects on time and within budget.
Mentor and assist junior engineers in preparing final design plans.
Coordinate and review project team efforts.
Use project management software for planning and invoicing.
Oversee overall performance metrics for assigned engineering projects.
Conduct job hazard analysis and prepare jobsite-specific safety plans in coordination with the Safety Officer.
Perform airfield civil engineering design from preliminary to final stages.
