Job summary

RTX Columbus Engine Center in Georgia seeks a mechanic to overhaul, repair, and assemble jet engines for commercial and military aircraft. You will work in a hands-on, team-driven environment to ensure engines meet peak performance, safety, and reliability.

This 2nd-weekend shift (Fri–Sun, 7:00 pm–7:30 am) offers comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability coverage, 401(k) with match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years’ mechanic experience or technical training.

Responsibilities

• Overhaul, repair, and assemble jet engines per instructions.
• Use hand tools and fixtures to assemble/disassemble engines and test.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and delivery objectives; participate in cross-training.
