Job summary

Amentum is seeking experienced Aviation Electronics Technicians to support U.S. Navy maintenance operations at NAS Oceana, Virginia Beach.

You will repair and troubleshoot aircraft systems, read complex maintenance manuals, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. The role requires Navy AT/AE qualifications, ability to work outdoors in varying weather, and the ability to obtain security clearances.

Qualifications

• Must hold US Navy 8341/E19A NEC and AT school completion.
• Ability to read technical publications and manuals.
• Must have valid Virginia or NC driver's license.
• Able to perform outdoors in all weather and loud conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and rebuilds to aircraft structures and components.
• Inspect engines and turbine components for wear and malfunction.
• Read and follow maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and engineering data to determine repairs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure work is completed to required standards.
