Garmin is seeking a full-time Electronics Assembler for their U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. The role involves assembling electronic components, subassemblies and systems, and testing electronic function with standard equipment.

Responsibilities include following work instructions, mounting and wiring components, and performing operator-level PM on tools. Safety PPE and lifting requirements are part of the daily duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Dexterity and eye coordination for manipulating small controls and components.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand/walk through a shift.

Responsabilités

• Assemble electronic components, subassemblies and systems according to shop orders and work instructions.
• Test assembled units using standard test equipment to verify electrical functionality.
• Mount components on chassis or PCBs and wire leads according to diagrams.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment and keep work area clean and organized.
• Assist in training colleagues on procedures and safety requirements.
