Job summary

Garmin International is seeking an Electronics Assembler for aviation manufacturing at its U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. You will assemble electronic components, subassemblies and systems and test their function using standard equipment and procedures.

The role requires reading work orders, following assembly instructions, and performing tasks with hand and power tools. Lifting up to 30 pounds and standing for long shifts are expected. Experience in electronics is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong manual dexterity and eye coordination.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Read shop orders and follow production work instructions.
• Assemble components, subassemblies and systems using hand/tools and test equipment.
• Train associates on tasks and processes when required.
• Perform operator-level preventive maintenance on machines.
