Job summary

ACET, Incorporated, is seeking an entry-to-mid-level Aircraft Mechanic I – Electrician to support organizational-level electrical and instrument systems maintenance for the F/A-18 variants assigned to NAS JRB Fort Worth. Under supervision you will assist with routing, testing, modifying, and repairing wiring and power distribution, while advancing your aviation career in a Navy/Marine Corps setting.

You will also troubleshoot, document actions in NALCOMIS/OOMA, and follow tool control and safety

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one to two years of military or commercial aircraft electrical/avionics maintenance experience.
  • Basic understanding of Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) or equivalent aviation maintenance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with basic aircraft electrical tooling and calibration procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and modify basic electrical and instrument components on the F/A-18 under supervision.
  • Perform basic electrical testing using multi-meters and related equipment.
  • Assist with wiring repairs, terminal crimping, connector replacements, and soldering per wiring diagrams.
  • Remove and replace faulty relays, switches, and control panels as directed.
