Job summary

Unifi Aviation, LLC is seeking an Industrial Electrical Technician (IET) to troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic control systems within a baggage handling environment. The role requires PLC programming, reading schematics, and experience with Rockwell/RS software.

On-call availability is expected. Applicants should have a Journeyman electrician credential and at least two years in an aviation setting, with strong preference for baggage handling systems experience.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge
• Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation.
• Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Certified electrician with a minimum “Journeyman” status.
• Industrial electrical motor controls experience and electrical automation experience, on staff forty (40) hours per week and available on call twenty‑four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week.
• Prior experience with baggage handling systems and warehouse is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical guidance, maintenance, and oversight of all mechanical/electrical systems of Baggage Handling equipment covered under this Contract
• Assist technicians with challenging electrical repairs
• Troubleshoot electrical issues
• Participate and lead recommendation and procurement of electrical and mechanical spare parts; cooperate, coordinate with, and assist the Airport concerning electrical issues on the BHS
