Job summary

Daifuku Airport America Corporation is seeking a Controls Systems Technician to join our team responsible for the electrical/controls portions of airport baggage security systems. You will participate in installations, commissioning, testing, and support, with opportunities to collaborate with experienced Controls Engineers and pursue career growth.

Job involves traveling to customer sites nationwide, installing PLC-based hardware and software, and performing control-system changes and system

Qualifications

• ET or relevant technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Allen Bradley PLC ControlLogix programming preferred.
• AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Experience with material handling equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to install and support control systems.
• Install and provide technical support of PLC-based hardware/software.
• Perform control system modifications and update specifications/operating procedures.
• Program, troubleshoot and repair sensors, scanners, visualization systems, motors, encoders.
• Assist in testing and commissioning at major airports.
• Support proposals and customer inquiries; help meet project timelines and budgets.
• Build skills through on-site engineering tasks and mentoring by senior engineers.
• Travel up to 80% to support commissioning and field work.
