Job summary

P & R Services, a premier airport service and maintenance company, is seeking an experienced technician to troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on Diesel Trucks and a range of Ground Service Equipment in a 24/7 airport environment in San Francisco. You will diagnose electrical and diesel systems, transmissions, suspensions and brakes on heavy equipment.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, be able to pass an airport badge

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Valid state driver’s license.
Must be able to pass a background check for Airport badge.
Able to work any shift (night, weekends, holidays, overtime) in a 24/7 operation.
Able to climb ladders and walk for extended periods.
Outdoor work in all temperatures and weather.
Exposure to high noise levels.
Moderate lifting.
Computer data input and retrieval.

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance on Diesel Trucks and Ground Service Equipment (GSE).
Diagnose electrical systems, diesel engines, transmissions, suspension and brake systems.
Work with heavy industrial equipment including tugs, belt loaders, air starts, ground power units and pushback tractors.
