Job summary

TCR North America, part of TCR Group, seeks a Service Technician/Mechanic – GSE/Diesel for our San Francisco, CA workshop. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain ground support equipment to ensure maximum availability for customers.

You will use your electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic expertise and operate mobile devices to document work orders. We offer a collaborative team environment with clear growth paths, competitive hourly pay ranging $36-$40 per hour, and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required; CDL preferred but not required.
• Must provide personal hand tools; TCR supplies specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, plus proficiency with mobile devices and relevant apps.
• Solid understanding of essential safety, quality, and operational protocols.
• Growth mindset, collaborative team spirit, eagerness to learn, strong work ethic, integrity.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting: diagnose, adjust, and repair equipment and vehicles, including electrical, brake, hydraulic, cooling, power steering systems, engines, and other components.
• Maintenance and Repairs: perform preventative and corrective maintenance and inspections per manufacturer and customer requirements.
• Compliance & Quality: ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations, maintain quality control and product integrity.
• Health & Safety: promote safety, use protective equipment, report incidents, and support health and safety initiatives.
