Gensler’s San Francisco office seeks a Technical Designer with a passion for Aviation to join our Cities Studio. You will blend creativity and technical knowledge to produce functional, beautiful spaces for clients, contributing to projects from concept through construction.

The role emphasizes collaboration across large teams, coordination with consultants, and leadership in technical delivery, with a focus on aviation expertise and sustainable design practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture is required.
• 6+ years of experience; aviation project experience preferred.
• Must be passionate about Aviation projects and collaborative problem solving.
• Experience with BIM and standard architectural software including Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively on large progressive design-build aviation teams.
• Coordinate documentation with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, and civil consultants.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, contractors, and officials.
• Directly supervise design and technical delivery with Project Leads.
• Execute plans for all segments within large and complex projects.
• Provide technical direction and innovative solutions to complex design challenges.
