AECOM is actively seeking a creative Aviation Design Project Manager for the Oakland, Orange, or Los Angeles offices in California. The role involves leading aviation-related civil design and project management for multi-discipline teams while managing budgets, schedules, and client relationships.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS with 8 years in aviation projects and a CA PE license is preferred. This is a hybrid position with opportunities to market and win aviation work across the region.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Experience in preparing project reports, feasibility studies, and PS&Es for aviation projects
• Proven track record of marketing/selling services to aviation clients
• Professional Engineer License in CA
• Minimum 8 years in aviation project management
• Willingness to travel to clients and projects in Southern California, Nevada and surrounding states

Responsabilités

• Perform aviation-related civil design, planning, construction support, and client management for General Aviation and Commercial Air Service Airports
• Plan, direct, and monitor multi-discipline airport design projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, lighting, and drainage
• Mentor staff and guide teams on complex technical issues
• Coordinate staffing and workload across project duration to meet schedules and budgets
• Develop strategy, proposals, and negotiate contracts for projects
• Build and maintain positive client relationships and pursue marketing opportunities
