Inland Deicing Services, LLC is seeking a Deicing Equipment Mechanic at Des Moines Airport. This part-time/seasonal role maintains deicing gear, GSE, and service vehicles, performing inspections, repairs and record-keeping to ensure safe, reliable operations during de-ice events.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in maintenance, with strong mechanical and electrical skills, and the ability to read manuals and schematics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and at least two years in a maintenance field.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and complete repairs in time.
• Knowledge of gasoline- and diesel-powered equipment and their maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain and repair deicing equipment, GSE and vehicles.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and keep accurate records.
• Prepare equipment for de/anti-icing operations and assist with related tasks.
• Communicate status and parts needs with the team; ensure safety and compliance.
