Job summary

The Inland Group of Companies is seeking a Part-time/Seasonal Deicer Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair deicing equipment, GSE, service vehicles and related gear at the Des Moines Airport. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, ensure safety records are up to date, and assist with de/anti-icing tasks as needed.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in maintenance, with mechanical/electrical skills, plus ability to read manuals and schematics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with at least two years in a maintenance role.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain and repair deicing equipment, GSE, vehicles, pumps, hoses and related items.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Communicate equipment status and expected completion timelines with team.
• Assist Operations with de/anti-icing operations when needed.
