PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is hiring a Deicer Lead responsible for safe and efficient aircraft de-icing and fueling operations. You will report to the Supervisor, perform daily quality checks, maintain equipment, and ensure safety procedures are followed.

You will drive large vehicles around aircraft during de-icing and track transactions for record-keeping. Responsibilities include communications with dispatch, timely reporting, and uphold PrimeFlight service standards.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices.
• Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, in-person and electronically.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, as applicable).
• Airlines operate 24/7; must be flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Check aircraft for leading-edge ice and frost.
• Report daily to Supervisor/Manager detailing the status of daily operations.
• Check equipment for unsafe conditions and take corrective action.
• Conduct weekly safety debriefings as necessary.
• Adhere to safety procedures at all times.
• Perform fueling safely and efficiently.
• Accurately track fuel transactions.
• Record deicing fluid transactions for accounts.
• Operate headset/radio to communicate with dispatch.
• Maintain equipment in clean and functional condition.
• Drive large heavy vehicles around aircraft during deicing operations.
• Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
