Job summary

Ascent Aviation Services Corp. is seeking a Controller to lead the accounting department across GAAP compliant financial activities.

You will partner with executive leadership to manage reporting, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning for the company’s growing operations in Marana, AZ and on-base sites. Responsibilities include closing processes, cost accounting oversight, and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• Minimum 7 years progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in a service-oriented environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Support cost accounting functions and job/P&L analysis.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain internal controls.
• Coordinate annual audits with external auditors.
• Provide strategic financial reporting to senior management.
