ARCO Companies is seeking a Design/Build Manager to lead aviation construction programs, including MRO facilities, FBOs, and terminals in Indiana. You will manage estimating, scheduling, design coordination, and value engineering from day one.

The role demands 3–10 years of relevant experience, strong decision-making under deadlines, and a commitment to quality in a fast-paced team environment. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project is required.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with minimum 3.2 GPA.
• 3-10 years of design/build experience.
• Experience with aviation construction projects (MRO, FBOs, terminals).
• Ability to make sound decisions under deadlines.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple activities.
• Commitment to quality and continuous process improvement.
• Integrity aligned with company values.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Manage project aspects including estimating, scheduling, QC, progress reports, and safety.
• Develop preliminary concept drawings with owners and design teams.
• Lead proposal meetings to scope work and suggest value engineering.
• Oversee subcontractor buyout and selection.
• Lead bi-weekly on-site progress meetings.
• Make decisions under tight deadlines and manage multiple activities.
• Ensure quality by evaluating processes and incorporating client feedback.
