Job summary

ARCO National Holdings seeks an Aviation Construction Project Manager to lead aviation design-build projects from preconstruction through completion from our St. Louis office.

Projects include hangars, MRO facilities, FBOs, cargo facilities, and other airport infrastructure. You will manage estimating, budgeting, scheduling, design coordination, subcontractor management, and field execution, working with owners, design teams, and field leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management experience.
• Experience with aviation, hangars, MRO, airport facilities, industrial, manufacturing, federal, defense, logistics, or technically complex projects preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required.
• Based in Boston, MA, St. Louis, MO, or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Manage aviation construction projects from preconstruction through completion; including estimating, proposal preparation, contract negotiations, scheduling, budgeting, design review, and execution
• Lead complex aviation construction work including hangars, MRO facilities, FBO's, cargo facilities, aircraft support buildings, aviation manufacturing facilities, and other airport-related infrastructure
• Work closely with owners and design team to develop preliminary concept drawings
• Participate in proposal meeting with owner to review the scope of work and provide value engineering ideas
• Support aviation pursuits by helping with site reviews, constructability input, schedules, budgets, scope reviews, and client meetings
• Lead subcontractor buyout and ensure scopes are complete, coordinated, and aligned with the project schedule and budget
• Partner with Superintendent to ensure safety, quality control, and schedule
• Travel 25% nationally
