Job summary

ARCO, a Family of Construction Companies, seeks a Design/Build Manager to lead aviation-related projects in Indianapolis from concept through closeout. You’ll manage estimating, scheduling, design review, and coordination with owners and the design team to deliver on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include buyout of subcontractors, bi-weekly site meetings, and proactive quality and safety oversight.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field with a minimum 3.2 GPA.
• 3–10 years of design/build experience.
• Experience supporting aviation construction projects (MRO facilities, FBOs, airport terminals).
• Ability to make sound decisions under tight deadlines.
• Ability to organize, plan and manage multiple activities.
• Commitment to quality by evaluating project-related processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee managerial and administrative aspects including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, and cost reporting.
• Develop preliminary concept drawings with the design team.
• Participate in proposals and review scope with owners to optimize costs and add value.
• Oversee buyout and selection of subcontractors.
• Conduct bi-weekly site meetings and manage multiple activities to meet targets.
• Maintain integrity and align with company values while meeting client expectations.
