Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Aviation Construction Section Manager to lead the aviation construction project management team within the Construction Global Practice. You will oversee complex airport CIP programs, terminals, runways, and related infrastructure, balancing construction activity with ongoing airport operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction, or related field; 5 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Experience in aviation or airport construction preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership/management experience is preferable.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to present complex information.
• Strong project management skills and strategic perspective.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction to a team of aviation construction project managers delivering airport and aviation infrastructure projects.
• Grow and optimize staffing, resources, and workforce development to support current and future project demands.
• Oversee planning and execution of airport CIP and aviation projects including terminals and runways.
• Ensure project delivery on time, within budget, and with safety and quality.
• Coordinate with airport authorities, airlines, regulators, and clients to minimize operational impacts.
