Job summary

The Component Shop Manager at United Aero Group in Orlando, FL oversees all activities within a FAA Part 145 repair station component shop supporting aircraft components.

This role manages daily operations, personnel, production workflow, safety, tooling, technical data, material coordination, and customer support to ensure maintenance, repair, overhaul, testing, and work orders are performed safely and in compliance.

Qualifications

• Significant aviation maintenance, repair, overhaul, or component shop experience at a FAA Part 145 repair station.
• Experience supporting UH-60 or similar rotary-wing components.
• Ability to read and apply technical publications and maintenance manuals.
• Leadership experience managing technicians and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee UH-60 component shop activities including troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, testing, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with FAA Part 145 procedures and customer requirements.
• Manage production schedules, capacity, and workflow to meet turnaround times.
• Provide leadership to supervisors, technicians, and support personnel.
• Coordinate with Production Control, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality to resolve issues.
• Maintain training, qualifications, and proper use of tooling and equipment.
• Drive safety culture and adherence to environmental and housekeeping requirements.
