NorthPoint Aviation in Brainerd, MN seeks an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Shop Manager to lead a FAA Part 145 repair station. You will oversee maintenance operations, ensure airworthiness, and manage a team of skilled technicians daily.

Responsibilities include compliance with FARs, scheduling maintenance, and maintaining a safe working environment while delivering excellent service to customers and aircraft owners.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current A&P certificate with inspection authorization recommended.
• At least 5 years of hands-on GA maintenance experience on piston, turboprop and light jets.
• Strong communication skills and computer literacy including MS Office.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturer maintenance manuals and service bulletins.

Responsabilités

• Ensure airworthy condition of company and customer aircraft and timely return to service.
• Provide technical support and scheduling input to minimize downtime.
• Ensure technicians are certified, trained and supervised per FARs and procedures.
• Lead aircraft maintenance technicians daily and model proper techniques.
• Develop policies to advance safety objectives and coordinate with other departments.
• Participate in hiring, evaluation and performance decisions for maintenance staff.
