Job summary

Team JAS, Inc., based in Jacksonville, FL, seeks a Component Repair Representative to coordinate aircraft component repairs with external MRO vendors, manage repair orders from receipt to redelivery, and ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive, capable of maintaining accurate records while collaborating with Sales, Purchasing, Logistics, and Quality teams to optimize turnaround times and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in order management, repair administration, customer service, or supplier coordination in aviation or related environment.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple orders, priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Create, process, and manage external repair orders in the system, ensuring timely completion within cost, quality, and turnaround targets.
• Coordinate with approved repair vendors, obtain quotations, monitor progress and resolve issues affecting delivery timelines.
• Track open repair orders, follow up on overdue repairs, maintain estimated shipping dates, and expedite as needed to meet deadlines.
• Prepare and review repair quotations, coordinate approvals, process exchanges and repairs, and ensure proper documentation and billing.
• Maintain complete and current repair order information in the system, including status, costs, notes and milestones.
• Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Logistics, Quality, and Customer Support to coordinate repair activities and meet customer requirements.
• Respond to repair-related inquiries, communicate order updates, and resolve concerns professionally.
• Monitor supplier performance, costs and turnaround times, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor rotable pool activity and coordinate alternative solutions with internal teams.
