Job summary

Qualifications

• Preferred: 2-3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a Mechanical/Electronics repair field.
• Experience with Makino, Starrag, Mazak, Handtmann, Chiron or Mori Seiki machines is a plus.
• Prefer two-year degree, diploma or certificate from a vocational/technical institute; HS diploma or GED accepted.
• Ability to perform basic functions with Windows-based computer OS, such as opening/closing files.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance inspections and tasks.
• Check and adjust flatness, level/geometry of machine beds, axis tool changers.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and CNC control systems.
• Determine repairs and overhaul needs; procure parts and supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and findings.
• Enforce lockout/tagout procedures during repairs.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and assist team members as needed.
