Job summary

Zenix Aerospace AMT/Damar is hiring a Machinist to operate NC machines and machining centers to produce aerospace parts per engineering specs. On-the-job training provided; supervision may be reduced as proficiency grows.

Responsibilities include setup, run, quality inspection, and troubleshooting, with an emphasis on safety and precise tolerances. This on-site role requires strong blueprint reading and G&M code familiarity, plus willingness to work across multiple machines.

Qualifications

• Must be able to set up, run, and maintain quality in a production environment.
• Strong inspection skills and blueprint reading; use shop inspection tools.
• Basic troubleshooting to recognize machining problems.
• Ability to dial in holes or edge-find and set machine offsets.
• Basic understanding of G & M code.
• Versatility across multiple machine centers is a plus.
• Meets job standards with minimal supervision; follows safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Set up NC machines and machining centers to fabricate aerospace parts per specs.
• Maintain dimensional quality and inspect first parts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues; ensure tooling is in good condition.
• Dial in holes, edge-find, and set offsets; monitor quality and efficiency.
• Operate across multiple machine centers as needed; follow safety rules.
