Job summary

Zenix Aerospace AMT/Damar, Arlington, WA, is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician to maintain CNC equipment and plant systems. The role requires troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components and performing routine maintenance to ensure production readiness.

Responsibilities include inspecting machine beds for flatness, reading blueprints, planning parts and tools, and coordinating with contractors.

Qualifications

• CNC controls such as FANUC, Siemens, Acromatic, Mazatrol understanding or exposure.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation; electrical schematics a plus.
• Demonstrates punctuality, detail orientation and adherence to instructions.
• Good verbal and written communication; teamwork and collaboration.
• Knowledge of safety practices and proper tool handling.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to use hand and power tools.
• Solid math skills and ability to read basic testing equipment (multimeter).
• Ability to operate forklift/scissor lift or similar equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on CNC machines and shop equipment.
• Check flatness, alignment, and geometry of machine beds and axes.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Determine repairs and overhaul needs; assemble required parts.
• Conduct operational checks to verify problem resolution.
• Plan and sequence work; order parts and prepare tools.
• Develop maintenance procedures when docs are unavailable.
• Maintain timely maintenance records and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and assist others as needed.
