Job summary

Zenix Aerospace AMT/Damar is seeking a skilled CNC machinist to set up, run, and inspect parts in a high-precision environment. The role requires reading blueprints, using inspection tools, and maintaining quality standards across multiple machine centers.

Candidates should have three years of CNC milling experience or a Machinist Tech Training Certificate, strong math abilities, and basic Windows skills. Compliance and safety are emphasized throughout the production process.

Qualifications

• Three years plus experience running a CNC mill or Machinist Tech Training Certificate
• Proven ability to consistently run parts that meet production standards
• Strong math skills
• Basic MS Windows operating skills (open/close files)
• Machine Proficiency test completed during interview process

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and dimensionally maintain quality in a production environment
• Perform shop inspections and blueprint reading with inspection tools
• Troubleshoot production issues such as out-of-tolerance machining and tooling wear
• Dial in a hole or Edge-Find and set machine offsets
• Understand G & M code
• Be versatile across multiple machine centers
• Meet job standard times with minimal supervision
• Follow all safety guidelines and use required equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned
