Job summary

Precision Castparts in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Quality Inspector to support in-process and final inspections of machined parts and protective coatings. You will read blueprints, use CMMs and various gauging tools, and verify conformance to specifications.

The role requires 3+ years in aircraft machining, a High School Diploma, and proficiency in GD&T and ERP systems such as Syteline/ESI. You will contribute to lean initiatives, data entry in ERP, and teamwork in a busy shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years with recent aircraft machine shop experience.
• Experience using inspection measuring equipment and GD&T.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with ERP systems like Syteline/ESI.

Responsibilities

• Observe and implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Support Quality Inspectors 3-4 as directed.
• Enter data using Syteline/ESI or other ERP systems as directed.
• Arrange inspection work queues to identify priority work and move completed work.
• Identify and segregate non-conforming product.
• Conduct product verification in accordance with inspection plans and Walden’s practices as applicable.
• Understand GD&T per ASME 14.5 and use related equipment.
• Use inspection measuring equipment and maintain accuracy.
