Job summary

Okie Staffing in Tulsa, OK seeks a skilled Quality Inspector & CMM Operator to perform first article, in-process, and final inspections of precision components. You will read blueprints, apply GD&T, and operate a Zeiss G2 5-Axis CMM, developing inspection programs as needed.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in quality inspection and CMM programming, with aerospace or precision manufacturing background. This is a temp-to-hire position with benefits after full hire status.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; manufacturing inspection experience may substitute.
• Minimum 2 years in quality inspection in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 2 years of CMM operation and programming.
• Certified CMM Operator/Programmer required.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T proficiency.
• Familiarity with AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with calibration systems and quality documentation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Make accept/reject decisions based on engineering requirements and quality standards.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
• Identify, segregate, and document nonconforming materials.
• Prioritize inspection workload to support production schedules and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with production personnel to resolve quality concerns.
• Operate, program, and maintain a Zeiss G2 5-Axis CMM.
• Develop and modify CMM inspection programs based on engineering requirements.
• Ensure CMM equipment remains properly calibrated and operational.
• Record inspection time and job information using ERP/job tracking software.
