Job summary

Langan seeks a Civil Engineering Practice Lead to spearhead its growing national aviation practice. You will drive strategy, technical leadership, and client expansion across airports and airside/landside infrastructure, while mentoring engineers and coordinating cross-disciplinary teams.

We value deep FAA/airport design knowledge, a robust business development track record, and the ability to lead multi-project efforts with strong communications and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive civil engineering experience.
• PE license in at least one US state with ability to obtain in others.
• FAA and airport project experience with reputable clients.
• Proven leadership and staff management across projects.
• Strong business development and project-win history.
• Ability to hire, coach, and motivate staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a progressive national aviation practice.
• Build and manage client relationships to secure projects nationwide.
• Serve as technical lead for civil designs, drawings, specs, and cost estimates.
• Guide staff coaching and supervision to meet objectives.
• Assist with talent acquisition to expand the aviation practice.
• Develop and implement airport project capture strategies across public and private sectors.
