Job summary

Foth in Louisville seeks an experienced Aviation Civil Engineering Manager to provide technical leadership and project oversight for complex, multidisciplinary aviation projects.

You will mentor a growing team, collaborate nationally with aviation experts, and manage scopes, schedules, and budgets to deliver successful design efforts for runways, terminals, and related infrastructure.

Qualifications

• PE license in Kentucky or ability to obtain within one year.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited program.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of aviation project design experience.
• Experience in construction observation or administration.
• Knowledge of FAA Advisory Circulars for airport design and construction (not required).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering leadership and project management oversight for complex aviation projects.
• Lead engagement activities with aviation clients including proposals and regulatory meetings.
• Develop scopes, schedules, budgets, and execution plans for design projects.
• Complete aviation and civil engineering designs and documentation using AutoCAD.
• Create and review 3D models to support design development and coordination.
• Ensure designs meet federal, state, and company standards.
• Provide construction representation and field support.
• Mentor junior engineers on design practices and project delivery.
