Job summary

Mead & Hunt, an award-winning national architecture and engineering firm, invites an entry-level Civil Engineer to join our Aviation group in our Denver, CO office. You will contribute to airport project design, observe construction, and collaborate with project teams.

The role blends office design work with on-site visits, requiring a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a willingness to travel up to 50%. EIT is preferred and proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university.
• EIT certification is highly preferred.
• Previous civil/transportation engineering internship experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design aviation civil projects including taxiways, aprons and runways.
• Assist with analysis, reports, specifications and construction documents.
• Perform QA/QC tasks and support cost estimates.
• Visit project sites to observe construction progress and support teams.
• Engage with clients and attend meetings as needed.
