Job summary
Luminator Technology Group is seeking an experienced Lead Aerospace Certification Engineer to join our Lighting & Software Systems team at the Plano, Texas headquarters. You will lead certification and regulatory activities for aircraft lighting and control systems and oversee onsite test laboratories.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, customers, suppliers, and regulators to develop certification strategies, demonstrate FAA/EASA compliance, and ensure lab readiness throughout the product
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace or related engineering.
- 7+ years of aerospace, avionics, or regulated product development.
- Familiarity with FAA/EASA certification processes.
- Strong technical writing and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead certification planning and execution for aircraft lighting and control systems.
- Prepare compliance documentation and test plans.
- Coordinate environmental testing (DO-160) and photometric performance.
- Oversee on-site labs, ensure readiness and compliance.
- Engage with regulators, customers, suppliers.
- Participate in certification reviews, audits, and test events.
